Alex passed away Thursday July 7, 2005

Alex has been an important part of the Referee Program in Connecticut for over three decades.

He was an Instructor for 26 years and has trained thousands of our Referees.

He served as State Director of Instruction.

He served as leader of the Connecticut Soccer Referees Association.

He helped to train over twenty of our Instructors.

He was a State Referee in four decades.

He was a State Assessor.

He was always willing to help and performed may of these tasks as a volunteer.

Alex's family has informed the CSRP that there will be NO public wake or funeral.

The CSRP will collect donations in memory of Alex Lucas and distribute them to the:

St. Francis Cancer Center

Connecticut Hospice

The Alex Lucas Scholarship Fund
